From our first small catches to today’s giant fishing sessions, Sandeep and Aneesh have been there – not in front of us, not behind us, but right beside us.
First Lessons on the Shore
When we were new to fishing, we believed the excitement was enough to land a catch. We thought any rod, any reel, any tackle would do the job.

While we were struggling with cheap gear, both of them handled their setups with calm confidence. The rod bent, the reel screamed, and within minutes – the first big catch was on the shore.
We weren’t impressed by the fish…

Over the years, we’ve watched them fight strong fish in deep waters. Not once did their gear fail them.
Not once did they blame the equipment.

Their tackling is already doing half the job.
Watching these two taught us that:

Tackling is not visible in the photos,
but it is the reason the photos exist.
The Unspoken Lessons
They never lectured us.
They never corrected us harshly.
They simply showed us how to fish – by example.
From them we learned:
- Focus more on the fish than the ego
- Never fight the fish with anger- fight it with patience
- And most importantly – respect the sport
Now when someone asks us,
“Why do you use premium rods and reels?”
we smile.
Because we know the answer came from years on the water with these two – not from a shop or a YouTube video.

For us, these two are not just fishing partners –
they are the foundation of everything we know today.
Every cast we make carries a bit of what we learned from them – and that is why fishing is not just a hobby anymore…
